Special Services: Baptisms at Our Savior's
At Our Savior’s Lutheran church baptisms are very blessed events within the life of our faith community. Baptism is a sacrament in the Lutheran tradition that we believe bestows faith and salvation upon the person who is baptized. We baptize infants as a sign of grace that God’s love does not depend on our understanding that love, only living in it. Adults who wish to be baptized may go through a period of instruction with the pastors. We believe that when a person is baptized he or she is a newly created child of God. Baptisms are conducted during our public worship services.
